Wine?
Dan Cederholm is curious - do you prefer red or white wine? If you're racking your brains to figure out if this is some new cryptic web development lingo.. relax, it's just another day in the celebrity say-so series. After you've voiced your beverage preference, check out the cross-interview between Hicks & Cederholm in this month's Treehouse Magazine
UPDATE: Comments here are always welcome, but the red vs. white wine discussion is actually over here.

Another vote for a good red. Though when you have a tub of free beer on the patio (i.e. Austin '05), I reach for a Miller Lite!

Red. With crusty bread, brie, and a good guitar player. You can not beat it.

I would have to say Sparkling Red Wine (Rose Regale = the best), but if it isn't that then definately White Wine (Moscato).

Red, all the way. That being said, we brew our own hard cider (with juice from our own trees, no less). This year, total yield was roughly 95 gallons. Yes, gallons. For us. And only us. :)

Red please! And as a french citizen, my opinion is highly important :)
Well, white also sometimes. White with seafood (some exceptions though). Sauterne with foie gras. Muscat, Barsac or Gewurtztraminer with some desserts. Tokay Pinot gris or Chablis with a few cheeses...

Red for me too please - a decent Chateauneuf du Pape or Barolo usually hits the spot, though lately I've been drinking Wolf Blass Yellow Label Cabernet Sauvignon... mmmm...

Depends on the weather - mostly white or pink in summer & reds in winter - or whatever is left over in the tasting room (I do some part time work in a cellar door :-)
In summer (17c to 35-40c) wth a meal nothing beats Robert Channons Verdelho (fruity with hints of melon & passionfruit - but a dry finish) or 2004 Chardonnay (lightly oaked) - with cheese & nibblies his Chardonney Verdellho blend and with a barbeque his merlot based Rose
In winter (-12c min to 17c max) I enjoy a cab sav or merlot with a meal - or when watching the rugby league - a heavy South Australian or Victorian Port (in front of the fire & big bowl of popcorn)
I am really looking forward to the 2005 Granite Belt reds and whites :-)

Please make me a drink of grain alcohol and rainwater, and help yourself to whatever you'd like.23. December 10, 2005 12:39 PM

It really depends on what you pair it with. To people who don't like white wine, you've never had a good bottle with the right meal (or cheese) - Sancere with Mussels. To people who don't like red wine, go to hell.

Red or White - as long as it comes from the Finger Lakes Region of New York!

Red - chilean merlot preferred, except when skiing when a warm mug of vin chaud is always top of the agenda!

Red wine, definatly :).
It puts you in so much more of a mellow mood.
