Another Color Selector
Ran across yet another neat color selector the other day. This was hard to figure out at first, but the more I used it, the more I was impressed. And then I read the manual. They've really created a very nice, robust online application. Something to add to your color-picking toolkit.

This sure sounds interesting. Too bad my employer's filtering software (Websense) blocks the domain entirely.

Kind of cool widget. Too bad it is so un-usable. I sat with for about 5min and then I thought it Ok, i rather use something else than this. I saw a nice one in Painter 8. It is more like a paint palette where you can mix the colours together, like in real life. I thougt that was great and much better than trying to learn new small icons.

You're right Tony, it is difficult to figure out, it seems designed and optimized for someone willing to spend the time learning the little buttons, clicks and drags. This might not be such a bad thing though, because once you get past that hurdle, you're left with a tool that is very uncluttered and which lets you concentrate on the task at hand - swatches of color. Combined with the functionality of Pixy's Color Scheme generator (oh look - a new version!) you've got a seriously powerful set of color tools.
