reBlog

  • Reported by Nate

reBlog by Eyebeam R&D version 0.9.b is out, it's a web based RSS aggregator based on "Feed on Feeds" and also a plugin for your favorite blog tool.

reBlogs are useful to individuals who want to maintain a weblog but prefer curating content to writing original posts. They can also enable organizations to tap the contributions of their employees, members, and communities-at-large in order to easily redistribute relevant content.

And while this might seem redundant, the tool isn't meant to be replace your existing blog tool, because it's a plug-in, you could use it how you see fit (I'm thinking it might be good for a side-blog).

I've been enjoying the eyebeam reblog, which they are testing the software with, especially since you can always follow the trail of where each link came from.
