Advertising

  • Reported by Nate

A new marker has been met, webgraphics has received it's first request for advertising. Now, as a rule, we aren't doing advertising - but since it's our first request, I couldn't help but at least mark the occasion. Thanks to Kurt at tutorialized.com for the request.

You should accept ads.

Assuming you did so in as tasteful a way as you have run this entire site, ads do have a benefit to your viewers as well as bringing in some money to help defer the costs associated with running the site.

Too many people feel bad about ads - but as long as they're not aggressive, viewers actually benefit, particularly if the ads are more targetted to their interests. Which is exactly the type of ads you would get for this site - CSS/Standards-driven ads for the community.

I hope you reconsider your rule. Not only will it benefit us, the viewers, but you and your team deserve some cash for the information you collect, create and provide.

If you won't take that, atleast accept my thanks!

If ads show up on wg, at least make sure the advertised sites are "Standarized".
