Welcome Silus

  • Reported by Nate

A hearty welcome to Silus Grok, who has just agreed to join the Web-Graphics authoring team. Weighing in as author number 26, the fine group of folks that I've somehow swindled into joining, swells once again.

When each new author has joined, I presented only one golden rule: under no circumstances are any of the authors to feel obligated to make posts, there are no posting quotas or expectations. So the posting frequency here can fluctuate greatly, but I think it's best to only read posts made by those authors who are truly motivated by what they have to say.

"... no expectations"

I agree to the principle of motivated authors... but the website itself raises some expectations by stating: "What is WebGraphics? Web-Graphics is a daily compilation of hypertext design, resources, links, commentary and notes.". Please note the word 'daily'.

No criticism, just some disappointment as few weblogs are as technically interesting as WG.

Lon, thanks for the kind words, you're right, I should probably change that wording. Also, if either of you (or others) are interested in helping make WG a more regularly updated blog, and you think you might have some links/thoughts to share on the topics we cover - please use the contact form to let me know that you're interested.

Hey everyone... happy to have been invited. As soon as I have a moment to familiarize myself with the back end, I'll try to post something worthy of WG.

Thanks again to Nathan for the invitation... I won't let you down, man!
