A Favelet that shows classes and IDs

  • Reported by Russ

Mark Lynch has created a cool new favelet that shows all the ID's and classes on the page. It is apparently only Mozilla friendly at this stage, but he is interested in hearing feedback and suggestions.

Hmmm, Ricardo knowingly or unknowingly just pointed out a problem with the pre-populated message in the comment text-area. Perhaps I need to wipe it clean on active with javascript... just thinking aloud here, pardon my babble Russ.

Ian Lloyd also has favelets (er... bookmarklets) for this at Accessify.com. Not sure when he posted them, but I found them at least 6 months ago.

I like the fact that Ian Lloyds favelets that do roughly the same thing are cross browser - however - I am looking forward to the day when all of the the browsers actually support the standards compliant CSS2 selectors used in the stylesheet. I can dream.....

And also when I fix the javascript so it doesn't throw and error in IE5.5
