textism software Refer 1.0

  • Reported by Nate

Dean of Textism has released a module of his CMS system. The slick, clean, no-nonsense Refer 1.0 will track visitors to your site in an remarkably uncluttered manner. Futher comments after I try installing it myself.

Wow, that was too easy. Up and running in 4 minutes. I’m checking for refers on the index and individual post pages. You can set how many refers you would like listed (I stuck with the default of “last 50”), you can choose to show each person’s address (I’m not)–those two features as well as a timezone offest feature are available in the config file. 5 files, only 17k–I love it. FYI, I’m not for certain, but it seems like a good idea to remove the setupdb file after running it.

I suppose this could easily be changed, but I stuck with the default directory name and have left it open to the public, you can view the webgraphics version of refer 1.0 here: http://web-graphics.com/refer/
