Web Accessories for IE
The indispensible IE add-on for "view partial source" in the context menu still works for IE6. Get it in the "Web Developer Accessories" package off the Microsoft site. The beauty of this tool is that it shows the page source as it currently, not as it was served, should the two differ.
You can also get this functionality and way more with the Document Inspector in Mozilla 9.7. Be sure to add the sidebar inspector too for quick access to underlying code.

I just did a quick test with IE6. It seems that the link list, document tree, and frame in a new window functions work, but the images list does not. We did make a simillarly functioning bookmarklet, it lists all images with their sizes old post here however I don't think we ever got the total file size feature working.3. somebody know how to use WebAccessories for IE under a non-administrator account, I am runing win2K, this plug-in works well under the administrator's account, but doesn't work for other users. I like the highlight function.

Sounds good... is it a good enough reason to upgrade from IE5 to IE6? Just wondering... I've got a great resistance to upgrades that aren't absolutely necessary, and I dislike in principle joining becoming a "minority" surfer (I want to experience the web, for the most part, the way "average" people do, since it's them I design for.) That said, I can't imagine doing without the IE5 Web Accessories (right-click Image List, Open Frame in New Window, etc.), and a host of developer-oriented bookmarklets (more details on my site). I think I should get Mozilla (and get into the habit of using Opera more -- it has some great functions too), but stick with IE5 for a while longer.
