posted on MAMP forum works, but today I upgraded to Parallels 4.0 and decided to give a new try. Very happy to find your post.

Now I can see my site – homepage only, from IE bugger, but there is a problem which I am not sure who causes it. The images are gone, style sheets links are lost, and when I click on the link, it actually goes to the server name’s link.
    Example:
    Server Name: demosite

From Mac, when I view the page from browser, it goes to this: http://demosite:9665/
In Parallels, I enter this address in IE or other browsers: http://192.168.2.102:9665/ I can the page with no images and no stylesheet, just the content with links. When I click on the link, it goes to :

http://demosite:9665/another-page.html and I am seeing this error “Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage”.

This is a magento site I was working, it makes link absolute path.
