Naked, down to the core

This [Naked CSS Day](http://naked.dustindiaz.com/) has sparked some deeper change. I’ve had troubles with the MovableType rebuild process, and it’s strip-down day, so why spare the underlying system? MovableType is now relegated to maintaining the [archives](http://web-graphics.com/mtarchive/), which will continue to function as before – no link rot.

It’s spring cleaning time. More as it develops.

Thanks! It’s somewhat of a relief, I don’t think I realized how many minor irritations with the old site had built up, even without style this is refreshing.

I wish I could make my site naked, but I won’t risk having potential clients coming to my site and thinking we don’t have a lick of design ability! Paying the bills trumps peer recognition in my book. It’s still cool to see for the sites that can get away with it for a day.

Yeah definitely, I think this makes sense to those of us actively building stuff, but would seem like an error of some sort to clients. That’s we too left well enough alone over at twinsparc.

By the way, W-G rocks. Thanks for the support. And no, this is not a silly meme. There are some big time folks participating for a great cause.

    Cheers,
    Dustin
